The Comedy Get Down
The Comedy Get Down is the first scripted comedy series about what really happens behind the scenes of a massive stand-up comedy tour featuring five legendary comics – George Lopez, DL Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin and Charlie Murphy. They're hilarious, insane and unapologetic on stage, but the second they step off is when the real show begins. The storylines are based on actual events that have taken place not only on their wildly successful Comedy Get Down arena tour, but throughout the 25 plus years each has been a nationally headlining comedian. A workplace comedy at its core, the 30 minute, single-camera series explores the personal and professional relationships of these five comic titans as they navigate the challenges of life on the road: seedy venues, racist road managers, pushy wives, angry baby mamas, obsessive fans, demanding celebrities, shady politicians and more.

Aired: Oct 12, 2017Being hardcore comedians, the show's sponsor is having problems with the comedians using the N-word too much. George found a new assistant for the crew; whom had a hard time getting Charlie a pie from Pussycat Pie Factory.
- Episode 2: Get Off the Bus
Aired: Oct 19, 2017As a way to bond, the guys have Nina arrange for a fancy tour bus to travel to their next stop. Eddie refuses to go on the bus because of his past trauma, instead driving in a car with White Terry.
- Episode 3: No Good Weed
Aired: Oct 26, 2017Nina reminds the guys about Cedric and D.L.'s charitable activities this weekend. Cedric is being honored at a dinner after donating to a charity and D.L. is going to spend the day with a Make-A-Wish teen.
- Episode 4: No Tickets No Peace
Aired: Nov 2, 2017Nina informs the guys that Twitter is blowing up because of some things DL and George said that got them in trouble with a gay rights group. Despite Charlie's warnings, Cedric offers a famous sports star tickets to the "CGD" show, expecting to have the favor returned with great seats to the sports star's game.

Aired: Nov 9, 2017With a free day in Miami, the guys plan on getting turnt up. Cedric and DL's plans with the guys are thwarted when their wives unexpectedly show up.

Aired: Nov 16, 2017Cedric is excited to gift George a custom suit and expects him to wear it on a TV appearance promoting the tour; and Charlie and Eddie become friendly with Keith, the bus driver.

Aired: Nov 30, 2017Eddie invites the guys to stay at his house while they're making a tour stop in Las Vegas. George and Charlie are going to spend the day playing golf while Cedric and DL will hang with Eddie at the house.

Aired: Dec 7, 2017George raves over the success of the high-quality, expensive tour shirts. Eddie creates his own affordable tour shirts and accuses George of being bossy. George sees where Eddie is coming from and agrees to lighten up.
- Episode 9: LA Story Part 1
Aired: Dec 14, 2017Before CGD's big homecoming show at the Forum, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar takes the guys out to dinner to celebrate. Kareem ends up leaving without paying the check, breaking the unwritten rule of, "The richest person at the table pays."
- Episode 10: LA Story Part 2
Aired: Dec 21, 2017The guys try to make things right but Kareem is nowhere to be found; ultimately, Kareem gets the last laugh when he uses his connections at the Forum against the guys.
